Introduction to oenology
A few Saturdays a month, our head sommelier Aurélien Farrouil and his team welcome you to "La Tour de la Dégustation".
During this one and a half hour course, the team will introduce you to oenology in a friendly atmosphere and answer all your questions about wine and tasting.
You will learn more about the terroir of Bordeaux and its different grape varieties. You will learn in what order and at what temperature to serve your grands crus, what to choose between decanting and decanting or the tricks of good food and wine matching. Finally, you will exercise your sensory faculties and learn key vocabulary.
Tasting course only: 75€ per person, offer reserved for hotel guests.
Tasting course followed by a table d'hôte lunch at the restaurant La Grand'Vigne: 245€ per person
